REQUIRMENT:

Role: Senior Application Support Consultant

Location: Tampa, Florida

Duration: 1 Year Plus

Rate: $45/hr C2C

Requirement :

Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations. Determines user needs and requirements and recommends ways to improve systems. Serves as primary point of contact between users and engineering/development staff. May require a bachelor's degree in a related area and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

MetLife’s Investments IT Division is seeking a seasoned IT professional with broad IT experience to represent Investments on the implementation of enterprise infrastructure initiatives. The infrastructure projects encompass a wide range of technologies and are implemented in support of hardware maintenance/upgrade requirements, rollout of new technologies, or risk and compliance requirements. The candidate will work closely with Investment IT teams and the Enterprise Infrastructure team on the planning, rollout, and testing of the projects. This candidate will participate in regular meetings with EI to understand the project details/requirements and assess the impact to applications and to identify activities to be performed by Investments IT.

Job Role Requirements
• Represent Investments in meetings with Enterprise infrastructure project teams to understand project details
• Perform analysis to identify enterprise infrastructure project impact across 80 Investment applications
• Communicate project details, impact, timeline, and required activities to Investments IT teams
• Manage project schedules and coordinate required sign-offs with application owners
• Coordinate testing schedules and report project status
• Perform SharePoint development for Investments IT

Technical Skills
• Understanding of the following platforms (AIX, MSSQL, WAS, .NET, VMware, Wintel, MQ)
• Working experience with Citrix (+ to have implemented a XenDesktop solution)
• SharePoint development experience
• Experience working with Windows 7 and Microsoft Office
• + to have experience with implementing Outlook 2010
• + to have experience in software development (.NET, Java, MSSQL, SharePoint)
• + to have experience working in a data center environment

Additional Skills
• Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline
• Strong communication and leadership skills demonstrated with both technical and non-technical personnel
• Works well with others, fosters teamwork and collaborates effectively across various
• Able to work comfortably in a matrix environment
• Strong analytical and writing skills
• Detail oriented
• Experience leading infrastructure projects
