Role/Responsibility Configurations

 

Function Security :

·         Register Custom Applications

·         Create Custom Menus

·         Create Custom Responsibilities

·         Create Custom and Inquiry Only Functions

·         Create and assign Request groups as needed

 

Oracle User Management:

·         Define Roles

·         Create Output Shares

 

Profile Options:

·         Trouble shoot and maintain User Profile Values as needed

·         Set System Profile Values (Related to Responsibility Definitions)

 

Concurrent Programs and Requests:

·         Define and Maintain Request Sets

·         Define Custom Concurrent Programs

 

Folders:

·         Assist Functional Staff with Folder Definitions

·         Assigns Folders to Users and/or Responsibilities

 

Troubleshoot Issues and Errors:

·         Missing or malfunctioning Menu items and Request Group items

 

User Access Management

 

User Define:

·         Create Users - All environments except Production (Affiliate Service Desk handles Production for affiliate users)

·         Provide Responsibility access.

·         Troubleshoot Single Sign On issues

 

Oracle User Management:

·         Create and Manages Role Based Access Control

 

Profile Options:

·         Trouble shoot and maintain User Profile Values as needed

·         Set System Profile Values (Related to User Access requirements)

 

Troubleshoot Issues and Errors:

·         System access issues

 

Audits System Resources:

·         Audits User Activity

·         Signon Audit

 

 

Application Administration (Front End)

 

Concurrent Programs and Requests:

·         Managing Concurrent Requests

·         Review error logs

 

Administering Concurrent Managers:

·         Define Concurrent Managers (In Conjunction with App DBA's for CPU Resource)

·         Define Concurrent Manager Workshifts

·         Define Conflict Domains and Incompatibilities (Prod and Future)

·         Monitor Internal Concurrent Managers (In conjunction with App DBA's)

·         Monitor Internal Monitors (In Conjunction with App DBA's)

·         Create and Monitor Transaction Managers

·         Monitor Parallel Concurrent Processing

 

Printers:

·         Work with App DBA's and Infrastructure Group to define Printer Components (Unitask will replace DBA and Infrastructure involvement)

·         Configures printing with the Pasta printing feature

 

Oracle Workflow:

·         Monitor and troubleshoot Business Processes

·         System Integration with Oracle Workflow

·         Workflow Architecture

·         Workflow Engine

·         Workflow Builder

·         Notification System

·         Workflow Manager

·         Directory Services

 

Flex fields:

·         Creating or Maintaining Key Flexfields

·         Descriptive Flexfields

·         Value Sets

·         Validation of Flexfield Segment Values

 

Folders:

·         Assist Functional Staff with Folder Definitions

·         Assigns Folders to Users and/or Responsibilities

 

Service Requests (P9 Only):

·         Create and Update Service Requests for Functionality

 

Oracle Applications Manager (OAM):

·         System Monitoring (In Conjunction with App DBAs)

 

Troubleshoot Issues and Errors:

·         Concurrent Manager Issues

·         Workflow Mailer Issues

·         Printer issues
