SSIS DW ETL Developer

RATE $50/hrc2c

NOTE: CLIENT WANTS TO INTERVIEW NEXT WEEK BUT START DATE IS AFTER THE HOLIDAYS, January 6TH! PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND.
Working from requirements and design specifications, this contractor’s primarily responsibility will be coding new and changing existing SQL Server Integration Services packages (SSIS). These packages perform PCI/ISO bureau reporting, financial regulatory reporting and ETL feeds to existing Data Warehouse premium stat tables. The ETL tasks will be a downstream result of the new PAS stat-create interfaces and new marts for data driven projects. Technical environment is primarily Microsoft with an IBM mainframe job scheduler.
General Responsibilities:
· Follow development & testing procedures from direction & designs of analyst(s)
· Coding, testing, implementing SSIS packages.
· Creating new SQL server tables/marts and modifying existing ones
· Implementing & scheduling new batch jobs
Desired Qualifications:
· Experience with SQL Business Intelligence Development Studio Environment
· ETL experience using SQL Server Integration Services
· Transact-SQL and SQL database skills using Microsoft SQL Management Studio
· Experience with scripting VB or C# within SSIS
· Previous Data Warehouse ETL and BI experience
· Experience with any combination of SQL Server Reporting Services(SSRS), Sharepoint, FTP, Infogix balancing and ESP scheduler a plus
Other Credentials and Job Requirements:
· Willing to work in a team environment following MARS procedures
· Understanding of Data Warehouse dimensional and relational models
· Property Casualty Insurance knowledge is a plus
· Able to work on site during regular business hours
