Designation:    Front-end UI/UX Designer

Location:         Jacksonville, FL

Duration:         6 Months

 

 

We are looking for a Front-end UI/UX Designer to design the front end screens for an existing internally used web application. You should have solid interaction and visual design skills and comfortable defining and creating site structure, interaction flows, page wireframes and interface requirements as well as visual style for the site including layout, color, typography and iconography. Your work should be accessible through many devices and form factors, with responsive design and graceful fallbacks. You may collaborate with internal business partners and technology resources.

 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of prior user centered design is required.

• Expert knowledge of user-centered design principles, web design best practices, visual trends and emerging web technologies.

• Experience architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining innovative, engaging, and informative web sites or applications.

• Experience creating detailed flow charts and other interaction design documentation.

• Intimate knowledge of various browser and platform requirements

• Must be able to adapt on the fly and iterate rapidly with little to no supervision

• Experience working and collaborating with business analysts to gather stakeholder requirements

• Familiar with HTML, CSS, JavaScript concepts, other coding skills considered a plus.

• You must be authorized to work in the United States at our offices in Jacksonville, FL.

 

Preferred Experience

• Understanding of mobile and responsive web development.

• Experience with Agile software development practices.

• Familiarity with web standards, accessibility with an ability to optimize code utilizing best practices
