Position: HMI SCADA Programmer
Location: North of Syracuse, NY
Duration: 6 Month
Skills:
Seeking a motivated, self starter to be a member of our manufacturing automation team. This position is responsible for support, enhancements and continued development of our Plant/Manufacturing Automation Systems. The successful candidate will act as the technical lead, as well as an individual contributor on these engagements, contributing to software architecture design, development of software applications, and integration into enterprise systems.
The selected candidate will be an experienced HMI or SCADA Programmer / Engineer. This position will be responsible for configuring and programming automation and controls systems involving HMI or SCADA
Must have proven experience in HMI or SCADA logic and programming with any of the following software packages: Wonderware, Rockwell, Intellution, GE Cimplicity, Ci-Tech, Iconics, Siemens, US Data, etc.
Must be familiar with tagging conventions, data logging and reporting, boolean logic, symbol conventions, etc. This position will be responsible for all aspects of a project including design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up. Experience with reporting packages, VB.NET, and MS SQL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in programming leadership as well as the ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion.
A BS in Electrical, Mechanical or Computer Engineering is desired. Ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of manufacturing industry experience
