Sr. Java developer

Location- Monroe, MI

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience and technical training, is required.

· Minimum six (7) years of experience in application design, development and implementation.

· Minimum (5) years java development experience with strong Java fundamentals, and Java web application skills.

· Relational database development and ability to understand and write complex SQL.

· Experience with Eclipse, Tomcat, Spring, SVN, J2EE, and JBOSS.

· Experience with SOA, modularized web services , extensible scripting, deployment, and integration associated with Agile software PLM is a plus.

· In-depth knowledge of information technologies and methodologies in mainframe and open systems environments.

· Strong working knowledge across multiple IT functional areas.

· Demonstrated ability to utilize multiple technologies to meet business needs.

· In-depth knowledge in business practices and systems.

· Ability to solve complex issues and complete projects independently.

· Ability to understand data needs of systems.

· Ability to understand system and business integration points and interfaces.

· Demonstrated proficiency to lead medium to large projects to successful completion

· Demonstrated ability to follow and adhere to Systems Development Life Cycle Methodology.

· Proven analytical and problem-solving skills in a technical environment.

· Knowledge of pertinent application systems, programming tools, standards, procedures and project management techniques.

· Demonstrated ability to work directly with customers to effectively assess business requirements.
