Requirement:

Position: Oracle DBA with Mainframe/DB2

Location: Lodi, NJ

Duration: 6 months plus

Phone Interview/F2F

Requirement :

 

Manager needs: Oracle on Linux as primary and DB2 on z/OS mainframe as secondary. Even though the DB2 on z/os mainframe is secondary the candidates still have to have recent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop Unix/Linux shell scripts as required for DB related activities

• Experience with Oracle SQL*Net client software

• Experience with DB2 Connect client software and Stored Procedure Builder

Required Skills

• Oracle and DB2 Database Administration including Data Design, Object Maintenance, and Performance Tuning running on Linux and Mainframe z/OS platforms

• Data Warehousing experience

• Unix/Linux shell scripting experience.

• Mainframe z/OS experience

• Coding SQL, PL/SQL, Procedures/Functions, Triggers and Packages.

• PERL coding experience

• COBOL coding experience
