We are looking for Business Analyst with experience in Internet banking or retail banking projects.

Special Notes: Should have a long term US visa / permission to stay

Education background: Ideally a management MS / MCA. BS / BTech will be preferable.

Who are we looking for?

              Ideal candidates would have about 8 years of experience as Business Analyst of which the immediate last 3- 4 years should have been in a bank or financial services company. Should have executed at least 3 projects with banks and financial services companies. The projects must have been executed in Tier 1 or Tier 2 banks. Experience in smaller banks will be considered – if the project is correspondingly complex.

 

              Experience in executing atleast one online banking project is expected. Alternatively, should have executed multiple projects in one of more of the following: retail banking, mortgage banking, lending / card related or corporate banking projects. In-depth functional knowledge of Retail Banking (Deposits, Credit Cards, Mortgages, Auto loans, etc.). The person should be an expert in 2 of these products both from a sales and servicing side.

              Expert in use case writing and use case modeling

              Experience in documenting process flows using tools like Visio

              Should be comfortable with interacting with senior management teams – business and IT. Must have engaged with these teams in atleast 2 of the previous projects. Must be able to move from strategic level conversations to execution level conversations.

              Past experience in Use Case writing for banking clients' projects  is critical

              Must have experience (>4-5 years) in the consumer facing web-based projects in retail/consumer banking

              Experience in online banking projects (web) is a significant plus

              Must have very good experience (> 3 years) in creating use cases, process flows using tools like Visio

              Must have experience in using requirement management tools like Requisite Pro or other requirement management tools

              Must have sound communication skills and collaboration in working with multiple stakeholders

              Must have good client interfacing skills and dealt with the business directly for soliciting requirements

              Experience in doing mapping of requirements to systems capabilities provided by packaged core / home grown core is required.

              Working exposure to Banking Systems of Records / Core Banking platforms is a plus – candidates having this exposure will be given preference.

              Use of one or more Requirement Management Tools is a plus (like of Requisite Pro/ DOORS / Caliber RM)

              Must have created requirements for projects that have been executed using an onsite offshore model.

              Must understand the SDLC

              Must have a minimal understanding of banking system architecture and requirement impact on these. Should know how to create a functional architecture diagram or system road map.

              Must understand the current trends in retail and online banking

              Must be process oriented. Should know how to follow processes and improve them. Should be able to establish new processes to handle new events and scenarios.
