POSITION: Data warehouse Architect
Duration: 3 months
Location: Richmond, VA

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Seeking an experienced Data Warehouse developer with a strong report development background. This individual must have strong experience building BI reports and OLAP tools using a report development solution such as Cognos, LogiXML or Reporting/Analysis Services.
· Experience with LogiXML is preferred.
· Candidate must also have a strong proficiency with PL/SQL and Oracle.
· Candidate should have some experience with ETL development.
· Candidate should be familiar with Data Warehouse principles.
· Candidate should have experience with promotion and change control methodologies.
The current technology infrastructure is based on Oralce 11g, LogiXML, Wherescape Red, and COGNOS (Legacy).
Specific Tasks:
• DEVELOP REPORTS AND APPLICATIONS USING LOGIXML
• DEVELOP PROCEDURES AND FUNCTIONS USING PL/SQL
• DATA MODELING
• ETL DEVELOPMENT, LOADING DATA FROM MULTIPLE SOURCES USING WHERESCAPE RED
• WORK WITH A SOURCE CONTROL AND DEFECT TRACKER FOR APPLICATION PROMOTION PROCESSES
• DEVELOP SPECIFIC DASHBOARD PROJECTS WITH BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE, INCLUDING A HEALTH DISTRICT PROFILE
SKILLS REQUIRED
· Report Development using Cognos, LogiXML, Reporting Services or similar: 5 years
· Oracle 9-11G: 4 years
· PL/SQL or SQL: 4 years
· ETL development: 2 years
· Data Warehousing/Data Modeling: 2 years
· Promotion and Change Control Methodologies: 2 years
· Good Oracle and Written Communication: 5 years
