QE Project - Automation Tester

Project Description:
QE Testing for multiple Consumer Data Products. Provide testing expertise for a number of applications to be tested on mobile devices. Role with include analyzing requirements, writing test cases. Must have deep understanding of SDLC and be able to apply concepts to applications to be tested.

Must have hands on automation experience, including actually writing automation scripts.

Job Description:
Requirements review - collaboration with analysts to update requirements where needed. Write and debug automated test scripts.

Troubleshoot non-defect issues that are blocking test progress. Execute automation test scripts and report defects.

Applies test expertise and experience to execute test plans, conduct negative/exception tests, verification, performance and regression testing. Full understanding of all aspects of Defect lifecycle.

Understanding of structured SDLC environment. Assign severity and priority to defects based on risk assessment.

NPW must be able to manipulate hand-held device for 8+ hours per day. Some OT may be required. Some late night testing required about 5 times a year. For e.g. 8p-12midnight (may vary).
