Description:

1. Work directly with external clients in establishment of standardized  interface format capable of transferring all regulatory required data into a central data warehouse that could be used to satisfy all regulatory reporting needs (annual statements, data calls).

2. Under general direction, work closely with users, business analysts and team members to understand business requirements and the design of technical specification.

3. Design the strategic interface format in which all source systems will provide the source data

4. Design and model the reporting data warehouse considering current and future reporting requirement

5. Work closely with and guide the ETL development team

6. Create appropriate meta data & documentation

7. Drive the data architecture design and performance monitoring

Skills/Experience:

• Total 8+ years of IT experience with 4+ years in Data Architectecture and data Modeling

• Well versed with developing Conceptual/Logical/Physical data models

• Strong experience in designing relational and dimensional data models

• Expert in using Data Modelling tools like ERWIN and MS Visio

• Exposure on reverse engineering of database using data modelling tool

• Strong experience on Database Normalization and De- Normalization techniques

• Ability to communicate strategies and processes around data modelling and architecture to cross functional groups and senior levels

• Exposure on development of a data strategy and associated polices

• Knowledge of Database optimization and performance enhancements tools and techniques

• Exposure to ETL tools such as Data stage is strongly preferred

• Experience in Healthcare Insurance is strongly preferred
