Position: Java Developer (8-10 yrs)
Location: NYC NY
Duration 12 Months plus
Job Responsibilities:
The primary focus will be on UI development for their web application using Java Prime Faces technology.
Design and develop server-side with Java J2EE web container/EJB3
Integrate SSRS reports into Java portals and SharePoint
Complying with the standard release cycle and deployment controls
Perform all application unit and system testing
Support users as required
Solid experience of developing large scale enterprise web application with Java/J2EE
Java Prime Faces or JSF technologies
Working experience with SVN, Maven, Hudson, Eclipse
Familiar with Websphere, MQ/JMS
Familiar iwth JBoss/Tomcat (or similar) application servers.
End-to-end development cycle knowledge
Planning and prioritisation skills
MUST HAVE
Excellent interpersonal skills to ensure clarity of communication to users and Technology colleagues
Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the following:
Experience of working in an investment banking technology environment
Experience in integration into portals and/or SharePoint
