Position: Senior QA
Location: Melbourne, FL

Duration : 6-12 Months

 

Position Summary:
 
The Software Test Automation Engineer will work closely with the Software Development, Integration, and Test team(s) to produce, execute and maintain automated test procedures for several applications.
 
Essential Functions: 
 
           Development of automated software products by writing and executing automated test code
           Other duties as assigned by Team leader
 
Interactions:
 
Supervision Received: 
 
           Receives general instructions on what is to be done, limitations, quality and quantity expected, deadlines, and priority of assignments from Teamleader.  Uses initiative in carrying out recurring assignments independently without specific instruction but receives additional specific instructions from Teamleader for new, difficult, or special projects/assignments
 

Minimum Qualifications:
 
           BS degree or eight (8) years equivalent relevant experience
           Java development experience required
           HTML development experience required
           Previous test automation experience required (expert view only or writing automated tests from outside a tool or IDE)
           Knowledge of the following is strongly preferred:
o          Selenium
o          Eclipse
o          DOM programming
o          XPath
o          Objective-C
o          Xcode
           Experience with Mobile and/or hand-held devices and applications (both strongly preferred)
           Must be able to work a flexible schedule
           Regular attendance and punctuality
           Organizational fit for the culture, that is, exhibit the values of Compliance, Respect, Innovation, Responsibility, Teamwork
           Ability to speak and write English fluently
           Ability to travel domestically
           Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance
           Pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug analysis
           Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
          
 Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
 
           Java development experience required
           Knowledge of Software Development processes and procedures
           Proficient with MS Office tools including Access, Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
           Ability to interact with a wide range of customer groups, both internal and external
           Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
