Required:
- SR Linux Admin
- At least 10 years of experience but may be flexible down to 8 years of experience for the right candidate.
- Experience in other areas such as security and SANs are needed
- Experience in Solaris to Linux migration projects
- Strong Knowledge on Middleware technologies (ie WebLogic, Apache, Siteminder)
- Shell or Perl Scripting to automate many of the routine middleware tasks. (this will reduce the load on the team on a long run)
- Automation of webLogic Domain Builds with a template.
- Shell or Perl Scripting to automate many of the routine middleware tasks. (this will reduce the load on the team on a long run)
- Production Support and OnCall Experience
- Strong Troubleshooting Skills
- Experience working in a dynamic, changing environment
- Willing to learn and work on new technologies as needed
- Experience in working with complex/mixed environments
- Expert level experience working in Linux environment that hosts numerous applications
Pluses (not required but nice to have):
1) Disaster Recovery Experience is a plus.
2) Experience with Virtual Machines (VM's)
3) Web logic 11g and 12c Experience with expertise in Migration and Performance tuning of JVM's in the VM world.
4) WLST scripting skills.
5) Automation of web logic Domain Builds with a template.
