Need SSIS Developer with Netezza and Composite

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Client: BMO Harris Bank

Duration: 12 Months

 

 

SSIS Developers will be creating SSIS packages, maintaining existing SSIS code, and running SSIS batch jobs to meet bank requirements for federally mandated financial risk analysis reporting

Specific responsibilities will include:

• Interfacing with business clients to clarify business requirements for technical design
• Developing to those technical specifications – candidates must display the ability to develop solutions which are able to be leveraged across multiple platforms
• Remediation of issues found during testing – candidates need to be problem solvers and troubleshoot existing code based on specifications provided
• Production support responsibilities
• Off hours production support
• Candidates must be able to operate in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines, and rapidly changing requirements

 

Candidates need to be critical thinkers who can connect the dots, and work innovatively and independently at a high level of productivity

Technical Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience developing with COMPOSITE (required)
• 4+ years SSIS Development experience
• Netezza experience
• 3+ years relational database management development using SQL, SQL Server, DB2, or Oracle
• Exposure to business intelligence tools including Business Objects, Cognos, or Microstrategy
• (preference is Business Objects)
• 2+ years in a data warehouse/business intelligence environment
• Experience with multiple operating systems, including, Unix, Linux and Microsoft Windows

Nice to haves:
• Financial services industry experience – specific Financial Risk Analysis experience would be a very nice to have
