JD:
- Hadoop administrator with little bit of development, hive a Plus. Looking for someone who can configure / administer regardless of multiple clusters
- This individual's tool bag will consist of trouble shooting skills and innovative technical thinking.
- · BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- · 6+ years' experience in database administration
- · Knowledge of Big Data and Hadoop
- · Experience with UNIX/Linux
- · Experience with disaster recovery, installation of software, creating databases
- · Experience with database migration [mainly migration of any Database like Sybase, DB2 to Oracle database]
- · Experience with high availability solutions (RAC, HADR, Replication / Simulated replication)
- · Knowledge on Golden Gate would be given preference
- · Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical issues and solutions
- · Good analytical and problem solving skills
