Project controls Manager

Location: Orville, OH

Job purpose

To coordinate, evaluate and prioritize the project plan as per the project strategy with the guidance of the Project Controls Manager.

 

Skills & Exp :

1. Very good with MS project capabilities and practical experience.

2. Knowledge of manufacturing processes

3. 5-6 years of industry experience.

 

Key duties/responsibilities:

1. Create and maintain project plan (out of available multiple spreadsheets and in coordination with Powertrain, Hydraulics, Pilot mfg & Testing teams)

2. Create resource plans (MS project based). Update and maintain schedule data (To ensure project consistency)

3. Create formal communication plan (for both team members and management)

4. Ensure for team members' completion of tasks to project plan.

5. Ensure contractors provide resource loaded schedules at determined intervals to make sure construction is being completed on time.

6. Recognize and understand competing project requirements and make suggestions for the overall good of the projects team.

7. Create project progress monitoring information including identifying critical activities and reviewing forecasts with progress achieved to date.

8. Assist the Project Controls Manager with evaluating schedule impacts arising from sourcing decisions.

9. Clearly communicate roles, expectations, and accountabilities to all team members on a regular basis.

10. Be a resource to facilitate the resolution of project issues by team members.

11. Regularly keep team members/management informed of problems, issues, and status of ongoing projects.
