Overview:

The consultant will provides Network /LAN configuration expertise. The client is looking immediate ramp up. The Network /LAN Engineer will configure, build, deploy and optimize a variety of Cisco products within a large structured corporate LAN / WAN environments. . The consultant will works on problems of diverse scope where the analysis of the situation requires evaluation and judgment.　

 

Requirements:

1.       Must have 5+ yrs Network /LAN configuration experience inclusive of :

a.       LAN routing/switching and Cisco QOS including configuration is a must

b.      LAN refresh/deployment activities whether on site or through remote access.

c.       Applying configurations and testing of LAN

d.      Solid security foundation (i.e. ASA) including configuration & deployment

2.       Good knowledge of Cisco hardware and IOS including:

a.       Cisco's Wireless Access Points, Bridges and encryption.

b.      Cisco Switches, Firewalls, IDS, VPN Concentrator and Routers.

c.       Network analyzing/management tools (i.e. Cisco Works, WLSE, Solarwinds).

3.       Strong preference for Consultant with one of more of the follow certifications: CCNP is a plus

4.       Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

5.       Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator.

6.       Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project.
