Role: WebSphere MQ Admin
Location: FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ
Qualifications:
" Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent work experience
" 5 or more years experience in installation, configuration, and administration of WebSphere MQ Series.
" Candidate should have MQ Admin experience with MQSC commands on both z/OS and Unix environments.
" Experience working with IBM Support Center and ability to capture mustgather documentation for IBM problem resolution.
" Candidate should have a working knowledge of TSO, JCL, SDSF, & ISPF for z/OS centric skill set.
" Knowledge of REXX, Automation principals, ksh, COBOL, CICS, and or C code is a plus.
" Working knowledge and understanding of Networking/Routing concepts, firewalls, F5 load balancers.
" Experience on AIX and/or Red Hat Linux, including ksh and vi.
" Experience on other Web, Application, and Middleware technologies is a PLUS: Such as WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat, Oracle Application Server, PEGA, BroadVision.
" Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions
" Demonstrated ability to prioritize work load and meet project deadlines
" Demonstrated ability to communicate concepts and ideas effectively both verbally and in writing across all levels of the organization
" Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate project deadlines
" Individual should be able to work in a group setting and is willing able to share individual skill strengths with group members and has a can-do constructive positive attitude.
