POSITION: Data Warehouse ETL Developer
LOCATION: Costa Mesa, CA (Local)
DURATION: 3 Months (Up to 6 Months)
Responsibilities
· Data Warehouse ETL developer is responsible for ETL development using Informatica in Microsoft SQL Server environment and all aspects of data warehouse reporting.
· Work as part of a team to deliver federated dimensional model for growing online consumer subscription service.
· Play key role in adding data to the Data Warehouse through development of source to targets maps and transformation rules.
· Participate in requirement definition, solution development and implementation phases of data warehouse and reporting projects.
· Develop Informatica ETL for Cognos FM, cube, and report development.
· Create and maintain ETL specifications and process documentation to produce the required data deliverables (data profiling, source to target maps, ETL flows).
· Assist in definition of logical and physical data models B2C ecommerce business.
· Configure and tune ETL infrastructure to optimize the data warehousing architecture
· Troubleshoot and resolve data, system issues and performance issues.
· Champion and manage new initiatives to completion to improve and streamline operations processes and maximize systems efficiency
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
==================
· Senior ETL resource with expertise in Informatica and dimensional modeling.
· Experience with business intelligence or reporting tools (preferably Cognos BI tools: Framework Manager, Power Play, ReportNet, Metric Studio).
· SQL Server - SSIS, SQL queries and stored procedures.
· Extensive experience with data warehouse concepts and methodologies.
· Experience with database design & modeling.
· Must have working experience in ecommerce industry and web analytics
· Good written and oral communication skills; excellent technical skills.
· Highly motivated self-starter, detail and quality oriented and able to work independently
· Experience with data modeling tool (ER/Studio)
· Education: BS degree or higher in MIS or engineering fields.
Role: JD Edwards Developer
Location: Northridge, CA
Duration of Contract: 6-months+
Purpose: there is a great deal of enhancements and new development required on the existing systems to meet the needs of newer users.
Location of Candidate: must sit in LA, but we can recruit candidates from any location
Miscellaneous: must pass Drug and Background Check before starting work
Duties/Skills Required:
· 10+ years of experience in analysis, design and development of business applications.
· 5+ years of experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Development Toolsets such as FDA, ERW, and NER BFDA.
· Utilizing the JD Edwards Toolset for data conversions, integrations, interfaces and system modifications (interactive / batch applications and reports)
· Working knowledge of Oracle Edge products and integration points with JDE.
· Strong working experience and understanding of all phases of the application development lifecycle; specifically related to EnterpriseOne Application Development.
Knowledge and ability to read, understand, modify and debug ANSI C, C++ and SQL.
Experience in developing interface solutions utilizing flat file and XML.
· Understanding of OMW (Object Management Workbench) specifically with project promotion.
· Exposure to CNC processes in respect to system architecture and package build process.
· EDI & Z-File Integration.
· Working knowledge of EnterpriseOne applications required.
· Working knowledge of Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio, MS Project.
· Effective verbal and written communications.
· Strong analytical and problem solving ability.
