Position:              QA/STB Engineer

Location:             St. Louis, MO

Duration:             Long Term

hourly rate:            40/hr C2C

Job Description:

·        Experience with STB (set top box) testing.

·        Good experience with writing and execution of Test case, test plan.

·        Experience with Quality Center as Bug tracking Tool.

·        Should be comfortable writing/Executing SQL queries.

·        Clearly document the results of testing using Jira and HPQC (HP Quality Center) test tools.

·        Work closely with developers and product support to support in the troubleshooting and resolution of defects found during testing.

·        Create Linux-based test scripts using Perl, Python or other scripting languages to automate the test and reporting process.

·        Experience with Video device testing (VOD, DVR, MPEG, and Motorola DAC).

·        Ability to proactively uncover new issues that impact functionality of set-top box.

·        Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

·        Experience in telecommunications /cable Industry.

·        Strong communication skills.
