Job Description:
Deliver technology support tasks assigned for Vendor Finance Asset Management Global System (AMG).
Enhance and support AMG system and processes across environments.
Interface with other application development teams within IT as well as the various shared services organizations and Infrastructure areas.
Job duties include:
• Maintaining and supporting the existing system and processes
• Developing necessary improvements for system performance, availability and reliability coordinate business requirements, perform data analysis, and develop PeopleSoft technology solutions
• Following software development standards and guidelines aligned with policies and procedures
• Prototyping and simulation of critical design elements to determine feasibility and ensure performance, security, and other non-functional requirements can be met
• Evaluating and recommending products in support of a solution
• Participating in Disaster Recovery activities
• Preparing documentation for software design and solution deployment * 7+ years professional experience designing, developing and supporting advanced .NET web applications.
Skills must include:
• Windows Server 2003 and 2008
• Visual Studio 2008 and above
• ASP.NET 3.5 – 4.0 (C#)
• Entity Framework
• MVC
• LINQ
• jQuery/AJAX
• SQL Server 2005 and 2008
• XML, HTML, CSS, cross-browser compatibility
• JavaScript • IIS 6 and IIS7 • Visual SVN or Microsoft TFS
• SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
• SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
• Windows Workflow Foundation (WWF) a plus
• Biztalk knowledge a plus Candidate must demonstrate:
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in analysis, design and development of web services and web applications under .NET framework
• Proven problem solving and root cause identification skills
• Ability to concisely and efficiently consolidate functional requirements into well documented technical solutions / design
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and service providers
• Demonstrated teamwork, time management and multi-tasking skills Other Qualifications
• Minimum bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Ability to maintain current with new technology
• Previous experience developing and maintaining Customer Service and Asset Management applications a plus
