Ideally prefer an engineer with CCNP but will consider CCNA if the history and exp matches.
These people will be managing a migration project from start to finish, moving information from one data center to another.
Person must have solid switching and routing experience and experience with security is highly desired.
Will be responsible for the discovery, planning, research and conversion process from one data center to the next.
Ideally experience in other large enterprise roles.
Person must be able to take all the data from the migration and mantain the information through decommissioning of the old data center.
THey will conduct 1 hr interviews consisting of heavy technical screening and soft skill screening.
4-6 years related work experience.
Good organizational and communication skills, self motivated.
Microsoft Office suite, MS Visio, general computer skills.
Fluent in Cisco router/switch configuration and troubleshooting in a TCP/IP OSPF environment.
Experienced with SONET facilities, DWDM and MPLS.
Minimum CCNP certification.

Position: Senior Software Engineer with ETL (Java/J2ee)

Reports to: Senior Manager, Software Development
Rate: $55/Hr
Job Summary
This position will have lead responsibility for the development of Java applications for ESP Contract Service, Services Oriented Architecture based system. The developer will be responsible for creating components within Java, utilizing standard Integrated Development Environments (IDEs), writing unit test cases and supporting the Testing and Quality Assurance phases of the software development lifecycle. The candidate will provide senior-level technical guidance to the team; participate in design and architectural discussions and decisions, mentor more junior members of the team. Participates as part of an Agile team
Major Duties
Ø Design and Develop enterprise applications using Agile methodology
Ø Develop detailed designs using Object-Oriented Methodology
Ø RSA experience is a plus
Ø Develop Java Components
Ø Create database objects to support components
Ø Write Unit Test Cases
Ø Contribute to Design Service Domain solutions for key business initiatives
Ø Utilize commercial off-the-shelf and open source technologies
Ø Identify functional test scenarios in line with business objectives
Ø Support testing efforts
Ø Support documentation efforts
Ø Understand and consume application requirements and use cases

Minimum Qualifications
Education
· Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
· 8+ yrs experience in Java Development
· 8+ yrs experience with Oracle or SQL Server development a plus
· 8+ year experience with SOAP web services, SOA architecture and design principals, XML/XSD
· 5+ years experience developing with Oracle 11g.
· 5+ years experience developing stored procedures in Oracle – PL/SQL, etc.
· Exposure to ETL design/development experience preferred
· Experience with ETL Mapping tools such as Informatica or Pentaho preferred
· Research and resolve data, process, reporting or ETL related issues. Translate requirements and models data warehouse designs; designs and builds
· Demonstrated experience building web services from the ground up
· 8+ yrs experience as systems analyst/designer
· Design and Architecture using object-oriented methodologies and tools such as RSA required
· Experience as senior-level Java developer/analyst required
· 3+ years experience working in an Agile environment
· Experience with developing and deploying J2EE components within Oracle Weblogic Server
· Experience with Spring and Hibernate required
· A thorough understanding of managing DB transactions and improving performance required
· Experience with development tools such as Eclipse and Maven
· Experience with large data migration related efforts a plus.
· Design and Architecture using object-oriented methodologies
· Expertise with Agile (TDD) methodology
· Demonstrated ability to negotiate and share ideas collaboratively
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills
· Active, vocal participation in meetings and discussions.
· Ability to run scrums/meetings when required.

· Should demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
· Experience in a Cable, Telecom, or a Media company a plus
