NJOIT is in need of a PM will oversee thereview and documentation of all data center facilities infrastructure, supportand maintenance contracts associated with the infrastructure, internal workprocedures and current maintenance schedules and contracts. This has been partially completed to date.
Role Description:
Yearsof Relevant Experience: 5 -7
PreferredEducation: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
TheProject Manager will oversee the review and documentation for all data centerfacilities infrastructure, support and maintenance contracts associated withthe infrastructure, internal work procedures and current maintenance schedulesand contracted work activities.
ThisPM must also function as a business analyst developing recommendations for anygaps in the "As Is" processes and tasks with recommendation forimproved processes based on recommended data center facilities bestpractices.
Additionally,Data Center experience is required. Keyresponsibilities will be to:
- Perform the detailed analysis andassessment to suggest best sustainability practices and recommendations whileadhering to project milestone target dates.
- Provide status/progress reports atdefined intervals to an OIT designee.
- Work with the ContractAnalyst/Business Analyst and the Technical Writer/Documentation Specialist toproduce the following deliverables :
1. Writtensummary of the status of all data center facilities (HUB, Bldg. 15 andHamilton) infrastructure equipment including origins, functionality, normal operating performance andcurrent status of operation.
2. Writtensummary of contracts supporting facility infrastructure systems (Firesuppression, uninterruptible power supply-including battery stores, onsitebackup power generation, heat and cooling systems and identification of otherfacility assets that pose risk to operations) including services provided undercontract, service gaps identified and assessment of services performed bycurrent and former providers for the past 24 months.
3. Writtensummary of contacts and information sources contributing to the assessment.
4. Writtenrecommendations/summary of facility infrastructure and contract findings withprocess and service improvement opportunities.
Candidatemust have Strong Written and Verbal Skills.
