Position: BPM Developer
Location: Kansas City, MO
Duration: 12 months
IBM Process Server 8.0 or 8.5 required
MINIMUM:
- 3-5 years of experience in software delivery or software development (Java/JEE)
- 3-5 years of specialized experience in delivery of IBM BPM deployments (Websphere Process Server) v8.0-8.5
- 2-3 years of related experience working in a SOA environment developing SOA services
- ODM (Operational Decision Manager – Business rules engine
- IBM BAM - Business Activity Monitoring – reporting / data warehouse
- Experience with configuration, deployment, and testing of enterprise software applications
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Strong problem solving and design skills
PREFERRED:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related fields, OR equivalent work experience
- Experience in project management).
- Experience with IBM ESB, Registry, and Integration Design.
MINIMUM:
- Advanced knowledge of system development methodology, process management, process design and analytical/problem solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of the fundamental principles of functional and unit testing
- Advanced knowledge of relational database technologies
- Understanding of secure development practices
- Knowledge of source code, branching and merging strategies
- Possesses strong prioritization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to document and explain complex technical concepts.
- Possesses both technical and non-technical problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to conceptualize, plan, develop and deliver a variety of creative solutions.
- Ability to identify, develop and document business requirements, technical requirements and functional design.
- Understands and follows formal project methodologies and change control processes.
- 2-3 years' experience and with IBM BPM tooling
PREFERRED:
- Exposure to Web architecture and design principles, Web Services / SOA, Portal Frameworks and Portal design
- Understanding of middleware and integration technologies
- Understanding of portal development experience
- Sound knowledge of HTML and HTTP
- Understanding of XML Schema and/or XSLT
- Proven experience with the exposure of web services for large vendor applications such as PeopleSoft 9.1, Siebel 7.8/8.2, Hyperion 11, Stellent 10/11, OBIEE 11
- BPMS Software – IBM BPM, Lombardi, Appian, Pegasystems
- JEE Application Servers - JBoss, Weblogic, WebSphere
- Web Servers - Apache, IIS
- Operating Systems - Windows, Red Hat Linux, AIX
- Other technologies / languages - SQL, JavaScript, Web Services, ESB, Struts
