Role: QA Analyst W/AS 400

Location: Tampa, FL

Duration: 6+Months

Must Have Skills: 

* Experience testing on the AS/400 is must

* Experience in Pharma industry is must

In this role the candidate will work with QA contractors and IT staff to perform Quality Assurance planning and testing, using the Quality Assurance Methodology and manual testing methodolgies, on application code prior to production implementation in accordance with the business requirements, budget and timeline.

The right candidate will have:

* Minimum of 5 years in testing application code or comparable application system experience;

* Experience testing on the AS/400

* Proven ability to prepare test plans, test scripts, and testing results documentation;

* Self-directed and experienced in all aspects of QA – planning, estimating, writing test cases, test execution, problem reporting, documentation;

* Quality Center

* Healthcare, health insurance or pharmacy experience

* SQL skills

The application runs a machine that automatically dispenses medications. 

Technical Challenge: Getting their arms around the data, software automation, cleaning data, extracting data automatically ….rewriting the system from ASP and Winforms to MVC and HTML 5.0 – and MVC is a relatively new technology. 

Solution: Hire a large team of QA analysts that can not only perform basic testing, but can test code changes to the AS/400, Mainframe, and Relational Databases.  

Utilize the experience of analysts who understand the Health Care business and Pharmacy business (as opposed to Pharmaceutical).  

Develop and test a state-of-the-art MES –type application to increase profitability on every transaction and increase sales volume.

***Applicants must have tested code changes on the mainframe or AS/400. ( Not just reviewed or documented code changes).  

This is the biggest differentiator.
