Cellular Modem test:
Standards: GCF,PTCRB,3GPP; UMTS, GPRS, EDGE,
Other: SIM; SMS, roaming, IRAT, SAR, power modes/controls, A-GPS
Equipment: Call-box; Rohde&Schwarz CMW,CMU, Agilent 8960, Spirent, Anritsu
Carrier acceptance/certification testing
2G,3G,4G,LTE protocol testing / network signaling
Cell phone low-level (below app level, but above DSP/phy level) functionality tests
In all cases, it needs to be testing & debugging these things, at a low functional level (not just testing Apps on a ____smartphone)
Test automation tools:
Designing, creating, implementing the actual automation of the tests, in a Windows/PC environment (not just running tests)
Software/PC Development:
Win8 device driver development
Network driver development & debug, especially on Win8, especially MBIM or QMI level
Bring-up & debug of new peripherals (especially USB) in a Windows8 environment
