Requirement:

Title: Web sphere Portal Developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 months

Job Description:

· 3 -5 years of programming/systems analysis experience.

· Websphere portal (6.1 and above) install and environment maintenance

· Websphere portal performance tuning

· Development experience (1-3 yrs) in EJB 3.0, Spring, Hibernate, web services, Websphere portal code deployment and skin and theme setup Websphere portal database integration with application server Websphere portal configuration and xml script creation and maintenance.

· Resource need with experience designing Enterprise services and message model schemas and creating UML diagrams for design phase deliverables.

· Expert knowledge of SOA, Object-Oriented design and programming concepts, design patterns

· Expert knowledge and development experience with Java, J2EE, JSP, JDBC, JAXB, servlets, RAD6/ RAD7, DAOs, JUnit, SQL, HTML, XML, JAX-WS, WSDL

· Demonstrated experience with Spring MVC, Hibernate, CXF, SOAP, ANT and ANT scripting, UNIX/ LINUX, Wiley

· Development and troubleshooting experience on the Web Sphere Application Server platform

· Knowledge and experience with performance tuning, preferably with enterprise web services Knowledge and experience with Membership/ Bluestar systems highly preferred

· Knowledge and experience developing portlets using Spring Portlet MVC framework, WebSphere Portal 6.1 and JSR 168, JSR 286 standard is nice to have

· Solid understanding of relational databases and DB2

· Works independently, receives minimal guidance- Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
