Requirement:

Job Title : Automation Engineer

Location : Bakersfield, CA

Duration : 6+ Months

Description:

· Experience of at least 5 yrs in PLC, HMI

· Knowledge of Wonderware is a must

· Min. 3-4 years of field work

· Should have experience of commissioning/handling automation equipment (PLC’s, HMI, OIT), PLC and HMI programming

· Design, write, implement, test and document PLC and HMI software.

· Develop control system validation/testing protocols

· Install, test, and start-up control systems on-site.

· Thorough knowledge of process instrumentation and control systems.

· Ability to troubleshoot control systems from the field element up through operator interfaces and databases

· Domain knowledge of Oil and Gas Industry is essential

· Good experience of commissioning, programming and troubleshooting variety of PLCs

o Allen Bradley – Control Logix, Micro Logix, SLC

o Schneider - Modicon, SCADA Pack

o RSLogix and RS Linx

o PanelBuildier/Panel view

· Experience of commissioning, programming and troubleshooting HMIs

o Wonderware InTouch, Wonder ware ArchestrA, Kepware, DAServer

· Understand and interpret complex wiring diagrams of PLC panels and electrical components

· Fundamental knowledge of wireless sensors, bridge, multiplexor and protocols for PLC and HMI

· Knowledge of process control in oil & gas industry

· Working experience of Yokogawa DCS is a plus

· Should have knowledge of ground safety

Willingness to work in oil field for day to day operations

· Should posses good people skills - work in a team and maintain good working relationship with co-workers\
