Job Description

 

Software Developer for the CTO Organization enabling Engineering Development of Next Generation Semiconductor Equipment.

 

SKILLS / ABILITIES: MUST HAVE SKILLS

 

·         Must know SWING and Java Threads

·         Should have, as a part of a team, or as an individual, worked on requirements management

·         Must be strong in Object Oriented architecture and design

·         Good to have sound design patterns experience and be proficient in applying them

·         Required to have interfaced hardware through JNI

Summary

 

The Software Engineer would be responsible to develop and test SW to be used in the Common Architecture driving the Next Generation Semiconductor Inspection Equipment

 

Responsibilities include

·         Generate software requirements, design documents, interface control documents and unit test plans.

·         Conform to the approved Software Development Process and Program Development Processes, and is an active champion of process improvement.

·         Technical ownership of issues that impact design success, and guide the future concepts, products and technologies.

·         Discover and negotiate system requirements, and flesh out designs.

·         Would authors Architecture, Requirements and Design Documents.

Education / Experience

 

·         M.S in Computer Science/Computer Engineering

·         10+ years of software development experience in Windows environment using Java Language

·         Previous experience with Semiconductor Equipment Companies is an added advantage

Reporting Relationship:

 

Will report to the Sr. Director, SW Engineering within the CTO Organization.
