Job Title: Cognos Developer

Location: Seattle , WA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Description:

 

Framework Development – Cognos
• Possesses in depth knowledge of Cognos Framework Manager and provides input into the Cognos framework architecture
• Familiar with multi-tier framework architecture – preferably 4- tier, such as
o Database Layer
o Join Layer
o Business Layer
o Presentation Layer
•Has general familiarity with implementing a durable model
•Possesses in depth Teradata knowledge to guide report developers in creating optimized queries and driving database tuning for peak performance
•Implements complex Query Studio Framework packages and solicits business feedback
•Designs and implements complex Framework packages to support Report Development

Report Development – Cognos
•Strong SQL knowledge to facilitate data analysis & profiling, formulation of queries, and validation of report results
