Description: Sr Java Developer for Instant Issue Project Frontend web development
Required Experience
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience required.
• 7-10 years of overall IT experience, 5-7 years working experience with enterprise software applications
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience on developing services using J2EE technologies
• At least 2 years of experience on EJB 3.0, JPA2.0, Hibernate, Web Services, JAX-WS, JAXB, JMS is a must
• At least 5 years of experience on any of the application servers like WebSphere, Web logic or JBOSS is a must
• At least 3 years’ experience with JSF, JavaScript, CSS and HTML4/5
• Ability to write and understand simple to complex SQL queries is a must
• Experience with Portal and Content Management Systems is a plus
• Experience on business and data tier design patterns is a plus
• Experience on clustering, rules engine is a plus
• Experience on web servers like Apache, IBM Http Server is a plus
• Experience creating application security solutions and with multiple application security models is a plus
• Strong understanding of Web 2.0 and Ajax technologies is a plus
• Strong understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and related technologies
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle Database
• Strong understanding of XML and related technologies
• Strong understanding of version control with Subversion and Hudson builds
• Experience in all phases of the systems development life cycle and Agile methodologies
