Title: Staff QA Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 6 Months

DESCRIPTION:

Minimum BS/BE or equivalent with familiarity  in developing automated tests, system test and QA of complex systems especially in the Host Storage Software and/or SAN/NAS storage systems industry.

• Familiarity with the system test and QA portion of the development. Storage Systems, SAN/NAS experience is a huge plus. Specific skills are as follows:

 

- writing detailed test plans for performance and scalability of storage systems.

 

- working with embedded SW systems and working knowledge of SW development life-cycle.

 

- providing and aiding debug support to narrow down problems.

 

- experience in scripting languages such as TCL, Expect, Python, Perl and Shell scripting.

 

- Experience in developing and enhancing automated test harnesses.

 

- Strong technical communication skills, written and oral, targeted at a wide variety of internal

and external audiences.

 

- Expected: independence, drive, motivation, willingness to go above and beyond, flexibility and

cooperative spirit.
