TITLE: Display Software Engineer
LOCATION: USA-Peoria, IL
DURATION: 12month

DESCRIPTION:

Display Software Engineer

•    Description:

•   This is a position for a contract software engineer to develop display software for Caterpillar machine applications.  The candidate’s duties will include but are not limited to:  developing, configuring, and testing display software; designing GUI interfaces; troubleshooting and correcting software issues; and reporting development status.  This position involves working closely with display systems engineers, and display software development team.   

•    Required Qualifications

•   BSEE, BSCE, BSCS, or BSME
•   Five to ten years of development experience using C & C++ programming languages
•   Development experience using Object Oriented Design
•   Desire to work in an Agile team environment

•    Desired Qualifications

•   Development experience using Windows Mobile
•   Knowledgeable in Boost
•   Three to five years of embedded software experience
•   Experience with CAN, J1939 and other data link protocols
•   Experience with Platform Builder
•   Experience with configuration management tools
