We have an urgent requirement of Senior Software Quality Assurance with one of our direct client in VA

 

Position: Software Quality Assurance

Duration: 12 months

Location: Olympia, WA

Interviews: Telephonic

 

 

 

•              Full understanding of testing processes & procedures and ability to work within the Customer's configuration management process.                   

•              Development of artifacts used in testing /evaluation of information systems and tool sets used to validate full functionality of the system as well as interoperability with databases and both horizontal and vertical integration with other interfaced systems in accordance with ISO or industry standard best practices.                             

•              Artifacts generated and used by vendors should include but are not limited to Standard Software Test Plans (STP), Standard Software Test Descriptions (STD) and Standard Software Test Reports (STR).                   

•              Conduct of User Acceptance Testing.  Planning, implementation, and testing of usability for Web sites and Web-based applications including: Web site effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction; user's ability and time it takes to find information and complete services online.                  

•              Ability to work in compliance with the Customer's testing procedures.                    

•              Experience with user-centered design including: Early focus on user tasks and needs; ability to observe, measure, and record a user's behavior; and implement feedback using an iterative design process.                               

•              Reviewing, testing, and providing recommendations for the improvement of web-based information and application accessibility using Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Standards and the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

               

•              Using testing tools, in a Microsoft, Oracle, or Open Sourced environment.                             

 

 

 

Mandatory Experience and Qualifications

 

               

a.            All Systems Analysis Personnel have a minimum of five (5) years' experience providing Systems Analysis  services on major IT Projects ($3 million or greater).                               

b.            All Software Quality Assurance Personnel have a minimum of three (3) years' experience providing Software Quality Assurance service on major IT Projects (3 million or greater).                       

c.             All Personnel have a minimum of Two (2) years' experience providing said Services on government information systems Project(s).                         

d.            All Personnel being proposed for this engagement must have provided IT Project Systems Analysis Services on Projects of similar size and complexity within the past three (3) years.                    

 

Preferred / Highly Desired Experience and Qualifications:

 

 

i.             Familiarity with the operation of Washington State Government                               

j.             Experience providing Systems Analysis Services for enterprise type initiatives.                  

k.            Knowledge and experience with state health care or Medicaid systems.                 

l.             Knowledge of Washington State legislative process.                        

m.           Knowledge of federal IT Project management requirements.                        

n.            Experience with federal government contracting, program/IT Project oversight, performance monitoring and interpretation of federal guidelines, rules and regulations                            

o.            Experience providing same category of Services to IT Projects with federal grants or funding and audit and reporting requirements compliance                            

p.            Personnel should have demonstrated experience providing Analysis Services consultation for large service oriented solutions in an agile-like incremental development environment for custom development, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS), and/or Software as a Service (SaaS) solution Projects.
