Duration: 18 months

Job Description:

Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking an Apps Systems Engineer to be a member of a dynamic team responsible for developing and supporting internal applications using Oracle fusion middleware technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develops original and/or complex code to business requirements as per the application design.
• Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs.
• Conducts unit testing and participate in overall systems testing.
• Develops new documentation, participates in the development of department technical procedures and designs user guides.
• As an escalation point for application support and troubleshooting, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of escalated issues and/or complex production, application or system problems.
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.

Minimum qualification:
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in developing core Java applications using J2EE, JSF & JSP.

Preferred skills:
• The key skill is building ADF applications using Oracle JDeveloper & deploying applications to Oracle WebCenter Portal. client would also consider JSF.
• Experience in Version Control System such as Subversion.
