Yesterday we submitted one consultant who got confirmed to telephone interview Today 1/17 at 3:00PM.
Duties and Responsibilities:
o Develops secure native Android and iOS applications for LPL's in a fast-paced environment
o Thoroughly understands and applies LPL's IT Navigator development methodology. Thoroughly understands and applies LPL's Architecture standards, including all Information Security policies and procedures. Verifies all deliverables meet Methodology and Information Security requirements.
o Translates technical specifications, and/or design models into code for new or enhancement projects (for internal or external clients).
o Develops code that reuses objects, is well structured, includes sufficient comments, and is easy to maintain.
o Elevates code into the development, test, and Production environments on schedule. Provides follow up Production support when needed. Submits change control requests and documents.
o Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout life cycle to identify issues and ensure methodology compliance.
o Performs unit testing and writes appropriate unit test plans to ensure requirements are satisfied. Assists in integration, systems, acceptance, and other related testing as needed.
o Ensures developed code is optimized in order to meet LPL performance specifications associated with page rendering time by completing page performance tests.
o Complies with Retail Systems policies and procedures including attendance and weekly time and status reporting.
o Understands and adheres to LPL's Diversity mission and policies.
0 Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Technical Skills:
o Has developed Android applications through release into the Android Market
o Has developed iOS (iPhone or IPad) through release into the Apple App Store
o Has enabled fast, asynchronous, secure communication betweeen native applications and server side systems
o Has experience, and can provide reccommendations of best development and testing techniques to address Android's many device variations: screen size/resolution, OS/API version, and manufacturers

Active Directory Consultant
Location: Plymouth, MN
Duration: 6 Months

| Hiring manager would ideally like an Active Directory person who has set up Active Directory for the Government with their STIG's. (Security Technical Implementation Guides) However, if he can't find that person he would be willing to look at Active Directory people who have broad and diverse experience with Server OS's Windows being the predominant one. He would use this person to backfill the work currently being done by his team, and move them to this more critical work. He does not want someone who can simply add users and groups, but rather a 2-3 teir level person who can handle PKI's and GPO's. Who can handle the HPSM tickets and understand how applications communicate via LDAP. | |
This position is to support Active Directory in a large, multi-forest Enterprise environment.
Responsibilities to include:
- Active Directory advanced functionality such as replication, sites and services, GPOs and overall performance.
- Assist applications with integration to AD, incident resolution, request fulfillment, and PKI certificates issuance.
Suggested requirements include any of the following: experience with DoD STIGs, experience with AD migration practices and methods, experience with Quest Software products related to Active Directory, experience with System Center Operations Manager (SCOM), and experience with PKI certificate issuance and support.
