Requirement:

Location : Pittsburgh, PA

Experience : 8+ Years

Duration: Long Term

 

Must Have Skills: Charles River expertise

 

Job Roles / Responsibilities:     

 

Someone to act as lead subject matter expert to produce the gap analysis and confirm the capability of the current Charles River inputs and outputs to meet the specified business requirements and to suggest alternative data sources where gaps are identified;
 
ii)            lead the analysis, investigation and confirm the data types and availability from data sources (ie Fund Accounting, Custody, DPX, SDM, TCM, COE, APS)
 
ii)                 provide input into the development of reporting requirements
 
iii)           obtain examples of all the current output files from Charles River

 

v)                  confirm the data inputs provide capability to setup compliance monitoring rules in Charles River for UCITS IV

 

In terms of personal experience and knowledge, support and input would be useful in the following areas:
 

i)                    understanding of Charles River batch processes

 

ii)                   known capability and deficiencies issues with Charles River and its ability to produce the outputs listed in business requirements (for example UCITS rule monitoring setup and client on-boarding issues, Global Exposure (commitment based approach), Liquidity or Counterparty exposure reporting)
 
iii)                 current Charles River rule monitoring and data output capability, and how any gaps identified might be filled by pending releases

 

iv)                  knowledge of the regulations and how they are applied and translated into the rules on Charles River
