ORACLE POLICY AUTOMATION (OPA) SPECIALIST

Location: Columbus, OH

Duration: 1-3 years

Overview of client

The Ohio Department of Taxation is currently implementing a new integrated tax system.  The solution is a combination of multiple Oracle technologies including Oracle Policy Automation and ETPM.  The project is a multi-phase and multi-year implementation.

description of job function

Design and develop Oracle Policy rulebases for large agency. Provide support in restructuring business rules and and legistion to better suit OPA capabilities. Colabarate with others to expose rulebases to external systems through various integration channels.

Skill Set

• Familiar with standard project development cycles and processes (Warterfall – Agile)
• Experienced in OPA architecture and toolset
• Solid analytical skills
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication abilities
• 4 years experience Oracle applications
• 4 years experience using Oracle Policy Modeling
• 4 years experience writing rulebases using Microsoft Word
• 4 years experience writing rulebases using Microsoft Excel
• 2 years experience using Oracle Policy Automation 10 or higher
• Ability to lead and conduct strategy sessions on how to incorporate better technical tools and align them with current and future business processes.
• Ability to articulate technical terms to non technical staff
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication abilities
