Need ASP.Net/Web Developer @ SC

We have an urgent requirement of Senior Web Developer/ .Net Developer with one of our direct client in SC.

 

 

Title: Internet/Web Engineer

Duration: 1 year

Location: Columbia, SC

Interview: By phone

 

Function: Works under general supervision and designs and develops internet/intranet systems using the .Net platform. May work independently or as a part of a team. May serve as senior technical staff member for assigned projects.

General Characteristics

· Integrally involved in the development and support of all Internet/Intranet/Extranet sites and supporting systems.
· Works closely with other IT groups and customers to define the system design and user interface based on customer needs and objectives.
· Participates in all phases of the design, development and implementation process.
· Ensures the integration of the web servers and all other supporting systems by using message based middleware and interfacing with relational databases.
· Be knowledgeable of best-practices for building secure web applications.
· Responsible for developing client-side scripting and server-side application code.
· Extensive knowledge and skills in the .Net development platform, Visual Basic, HTML, XML, SQL, and ASP.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

 

Required Skills (rank in order of Importance):

 

•Skilled in Net development platform; Visual Basic 2010, TFS 2010, SQL Database

·Skills in Microsoft Office Suite.

•Traditional or Agile (Scrum) SDLC knowledge.

•Candidate must be able to communicate clearly with the development team, Project staff, and the user community.
