Position: Technical Architect

Location: Northbrook, IL

Duration: 6 Months plus..

“Responsible for providing in-depth technical and business expertise on decisions and priorities regarding systems architecture. Educates and facilitates the establishment and implementation of standards and guidelines that guide the design of technology solutions. Develops and documents the solution based on requirements and provides direction for implementing changes to new and existing technical architecture.

10 years of IT experience with 5 years of experience as an architect.
Development background preferred .net but java is ok.
Oracle 10 & 11 experience preferred.
Some mainframe background/exposure preferred.
Must be able to facilitate a team toward decisions.
Must be able to handle multiple projects at a time.
Issue and risk management experience.
Needs to be a self-starter with excellent communication skills.”
