Participate in the data acquisition efforts associated with the Enterprise Risk Management Group with a focus on risk aggregation. The role will include the following responsibilities

 

• Perform data profiling, data mapping, and data gap analysis activities

• Participate as a team member for the overall data work stream to support the risk aggregation efforts, focusing on sourcing data from one or more areas such as underwriting, reinsurance, and credit/investment   data systems worldwide

• Document and complete detailed mapping specifications and rule definitions to support key data sourcing activities

• Support efforts in AIG Property Casualty ERM to apply sophisticated analytical, scenario-based methods to measure and manage risks

 

This position requires the following knowledge and experience:

 

• Bachelors degree, Masters degree or equivalent preferred

• Minimum 3-5 years experience in property/casualty insurance

• Strong MS Excel and MS Access skills

• Strong skills in SQL query writing

• Strong data analysis, mapping and documentation skills

• Knowledge of insurance operational lifecycle and the data and content that support the property and casualty product lines.

• Experience in the risk management field including management of key risks for a property & casualty insurance company a plus

• Ability to organize and synthesize analysis from many sources into unified data specifications.

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of interdisciplinary teams that may be geographically dispersed
